The CW61125H heavy-duty horizontal lathe is a conventional manual metal processing machine, matched for heavy machinery workshops, energy equipment processing plants and large component manufacturing scenarios. The series includes three models: CW61125H, CW61140H and CW61160H, with bed swing diameters ranging from 1300mm to 1700mm and a maximum load capacity of 15 tons. The equipment is used for turning oversized cast iron, carbon steel and non-ferrous metal workpieces, completing cylindrical surfaces, conical surfaces, thread cutting, drilling and oil groove machining processes.

The machine adopts a 1100mm fixed-width guideway and four-stage frequency conversion spindle speed regulation structure. The bed length can be customized from 3000mm to 10000mm to adapt to ultra-long shaft and large-diameter disc workpieces. The equipment is equipped with a large-caliber spindle bore and four-jaw manual chuck structure, which fits the clamping and processing requirements of irregular heavy-duty metal blanks.

Basic Structural Features

The whole machine bed is cast with high-strength cast iron with thickened internal rib structures. Guideway surfaces are treated with ultrasonic frequency quenching. The carriage contact surface adopts plastic lining technology to adjust surface friction parameters. The spindle adopts an extended nose structure with large bearing specifications to bear heavy cutting loads. The high-power spindle motor matches low-speed high-torque output parameters for bulk material removal processing.

Bed & Wide Guideway Configuration

The equipment uses integrated cast iron bed molding, with internal stress eliminated by vibration aging technology. The 1100mm wide guideway undergoes overall quenching and precision grinding treatment to form unified surface hardness. The thickened bed wall and internal rib structure maintain structural stability under 15-ton static load conditions. The guideway structure supports long-term continuous heavy cutting operation modes.

Spindle & Feed System Structure

The spindle adopts a 1:30 extended spindle nose, with a 240mm front bearing assembly and a 130mm spindle bore. Four-stage frequency conversion speed regulation covers four fixed speed ranges of 2–37r/min, 23–70r/min, 37–110r/min and 70–200r/min. The X-axis feed range is 0.05–6mm/r, and the Z-axis feed range is 0.1–12mm/r. A 4-station manual turret is configured with 45×45mm tool shank specifications for heavy-duty tool installation.

Tailstock & Power System Parameters

The tailstock is equipped with a 260mm diameter quill tube with Metric 80 taper and 300mm effective travel. The main spindle motor power is 15kW, and the rapid traverse motor power is 1.5kW. The standard configuration is a φ1250 four-jaw manual chuck, which provides multi-point clamping support for large-diameter workpieces. The overall power parameters match the material removal demand of heavy metal blank processing.
