The CK Series heavy-duty flat-bed CNC lathe featuring a 755mm wide guide rail is a versatile heavy-duty metal cutting machine engineered for workshop production lines and facilities specializing in large-size component machining. Constructed with exceptional structural rigidity, it excels in heavy stock removal rough turning and ultra-precise finish turning operations. This machine accommodates oversized shaft and disk workpieces with a swing diameter spanning 1,000 mm to 1,600 mm, while the center distance can be fully customized from 500 mm up to 10,000 mm.
Certified with CE, ISO and SGS standards, it maintains consistent dimensional accuracy even during extended heavy-load cutting cycles. Distinct from conventional light-duty CNC lathes, this large-format turning center enables all-in-one multi-process machining, including internal and external cylindrical turning, taper cutting, complex revolving contour forming, and threading for multiple industry standards. Bespoke mechanical setups are offered to align perfectly with custom part drawing specifications provided by clients’ engineering departments.
The entire machine frame adopts integrated casting via resin-sand technology, forged with high-strength iron blanks. The monoblock bed eliminates assembly gaps, greatly boosting overall rigidity and anti-deformation performance. Even under 6-ton maximum workpiece load, the bed maintains stable geometric accuracy without deflection, extending long-term precision retention lifespan of the heavy-duty CNC lathe.
All guide rail surfaces receive ultrasonic frequency quenching treatment. High-frequency ultrasonic vibration uniformly heats metal surfaces, followed by precise cooling to refine internal metal microstructure. The finished guide rail features superior wear resistance, reducing surface abrasion during continuous carriage movement and preserving smooth sliding performance for years of mass production.
Turcite B low-friction wear-resistant material is pasted on contact areas between carriage and guide rail. It effectively lowers friction coefficient during X/Z axis rapid traversal, avoids crawling motion, protects both carriage and guide rail from abrasion, and stabilizes repeated positioning accuracy of the large shaft CNC lathe.
